Ballet Class Information
Dress Code
Level 2 BALLET & Level 3 BALLET
- leotard with skirt (skirt may be separate from the leo)
- tights any color
- ballet shoes any color
- HAIR- bun (recommended) but off the shoulders in a pony tail is required
Level 4 & Level 5 BALLET
- leotard with skirt
- tights pink or nude
- ballet shoes
- hair- bun (required)
Level 2-ballet
In this class we focus on linking steps, connecting movements and staying with our music. Diving deeper into our terms and building confidence direction, utilizing the barre and larger movements such as rock turns kicks, leaps, jumps, improvisational tools and more choreography.
Level 3 ballet
This is an introduction to a more formal ballet class. We begin to learn more ballet positions, connecting steps, barre work, across the floor and choreography. Here we build our concept of ballet and the poise and grace behind it.
Level 4 classical ballet
Our intermediate group of ballet dancers will do a lot of stretches for mobility strengthening movements, barre work and focusing on posture and alignment. Introducing more center work, turns and combinations.
Level 5 ballet
Focusing on a strong technical foundation, dancers will add musicality, choreography and artistry to their ballet technique. Some partner work and will be working on perfecting advanced skills.
